This year, Kanchi Sri Bala Periyavaa His Holiness Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal’s 46th Jayanthi falls on Wednesday February 26th. With the Divine Anugrahams of Sri Acharyas, KKSF Midwest Chapter plans to conduct His Holiness’ Jayanthi Celebrations with Guru Puja on Sunday March 9, 2014 starting 8 AM, at Shri Ganesha Gayathri Temple, 16059, 151st Street, Lockport, IL 60491. The program will be conducted by Sri Chandrasekhara Gurukkal, and will start at 8 AM, with MahaMangala Harathi by 12:45 PM, followed by Prasada Viniyogam, lunch, and will include:
Swasthi Vachanam, Sri Maha Ganapathy Pooja, Guru Puja, including Abhishekam to Sri Padukas, Sri Siva and Sri Devi Ashtothram, Adi Sankara Ashtothram, Sri MahaSwamigal Ashtothram, Sri Periyava Ashtothram, Thotakashtakam, MantraPushpam, Chatur Veda Parayanam, and Upacharas.
