Kanchi Acharya Shri Bala Periyava Shri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamiji spoke about the contribution of Shri Adi Shankara Bhagavatpada to Sanatana Hindu Dharma and the Vedic way of life and how Shri Kanchi Periyava Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamiji has been following His Gurus’ footsteps in spreading the message and teachings of Shri Adi Shankara and Paramacharya Shri Chandrashekhara Saraswathi Swamiji throughout India. His Holiness implored upon those gathered to follow Shri Adi Shankara Bhagavatpada’s teachings and provided His Blessings for the upcoming Lalitha Laksharchana, Navavarana Puja and Nava Chandi Maha Yagnam, to be conducted by KKSF Midwest Chapter on October 17-18, 2014, as part of the 80th Jayanthi Mahotsava celebrations of Kanchi Acharya Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamiji at Shri Shirdi Sai Mandir Chicago, Aurora, IL 60506. His Holiness encouraged the young children present in the audience to come forward and chant a shloka or song. The program concluded with offering of Deepa Aradhana and singing of Maithreem Bhajatha.
