Jaya Jaya Shankara Hara Hara Shankara !!

The 21st Aradhana Celebrations of  Kanchi Paramacharya Shri Chandrashekharendra Saraswathi MahaSwamiji were held on Saturday 20th, December 2014. The function started with recitation of Guru Vandanam, followed by Shri MahaGanapathi Puja and Varuna Puja and Japam, Punyahavachanam, followed by Abhishekam to the Holy Padukas and moorthy of Shri MahaSwamigal, to the accompaniment of Vedic chanting, interleaved with soulful rendering of Bhajans on Shri MahaSwamigal by Smt Srividya Ganesh and group, followed by archana to Shri MahaGanapathy, Shri Siva (Trishathi), Shri Devi, Shri Adi Shankara, Shri MahaSwamigal and Shri Periyava, followed by Upachara Puja, including recitation of Bhajans and shlokas by small children, singing of Tiruppavai, Tiruvembavai, Thiruppugazh, Abhirami Andaadhi and Maha Mangala Harathi, Thotakashtaka recitation and namaskarams.
Shri Matam Prasadams personally blessed by Shri Periyavaa for KKSF Devotees, including pictures of Thirukkadaiyur Shri Abhirami and 3-D picture cards of Shri Kamakshi and Shri Acharyas, were first presented to our acharya Shri Chandrasekhara Gurukkalji and the host family and distributed to all devotees. Also distributed was the holy bhasmam from Ishthee and MahaRudram conducted in Andhra Pradesh by well-known Agnihotri family of Shri Dakshinamurthy Madduri Garu, whose family has received immense support from Shri Paramacharya and Shri Periyavas for conducting many yagams including Somayagas and Vajapeya yagams.
KKSF would like to thank Shri Chandrashekarendra Gurukkalji for leading and conducting the function, to Smt and Shri Raji Gopalakrishnan for hosting the function and making all the preparations and arrangements, to the various Sthree volunteers for making prasadams and food arrangements and distribution, to all students of Vedam classes for joining the vedic chanting, to Smt. Srividya Ganesh and group, including the young children for singing bhajans and shlokas, to Chicago Thiruppugazh Anbargal for rendering Thiruppugazh and Abirami Andaadhi, to all the volunteers for the wonderful alankarams and flower garlands, and to all the devotees for participating in big numbers and making the function a grand success.
