This year, Kanchi Shankaracharya Shri Shri Chandrashekharendhra Saraswathi MahaSwamiji’s 22nd Aradhana falls on Dhanur maasa Krishna Paksha Ekadashi/Dwadashi Wednesday, January 6th. With Shri MahaTripurasundari sametha Chandramouleeswara and Shri Periyavas’ Grace, we plan to celebrate His Holiness’ Aradhana on Sunday January 10, starting 8:00 AM, at Smt Anu and Shri Sriram Balachandran’s residence: 4325, Mumford Dr, Hoffman Estates, IL60192, Ph: 847 310 8143.
The program will be conducted by Shri Chandrasekhara Gurukkalji, start at 8:00 AM, with MahaMangala Harathi by 12:45 PM, followed by Prasada Viniyogam and lunch, and will include:
Swasthi Vachanam, Paduka Puja, including Abhishekam to Shri Padukas, Shri Siva and Shri Devi Ashtothram, Adi Sankara Ashtothram, Shri MahaSwamigal Trisathi, Shri Periyava Ashtothram, Thotakashtakam, MantraPushpam, Chatur Veda Parayanam, and Upacharas, including recitation of shlokas by children. Please let us know ahead of time if your children will be participating in Shloka recitation during the Upachara puja.
