Jaya Jaya Shankara Hara Hara Shankara !!
This year, His Holiness Kanchi Shankaracharya Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamiji’s 49th Jayanthi falls on Thursday February 23rd. With the Divine Grace of Shri Kanchi Kamakshi and His Holiness Shri Kanchi Shankaracharya Pujyashri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamiji, KKSF plans to conduct Jayanthi Puja and celebrations on Sunday February 26th, 2016 starting 8 AM at Shri Ganesha Gayathri Temple, 16059, W 151st St, Lockport, IL 60491.
The program will be conducted by Shivashri Chandrasekhara Gurukkalji, and will start at 8 AM, with MahaMangala Harathi by 12:45 PM, followed by Prasada Viniyogam, lunch. Please assemble by 7:45 AM to enable us to start the program on time.
Swasthi Vachanam, Shri Maha Ganapathy Pooja, Guru Puja, including Abhishekam to Shri Padukas, Shri Siva and Shri Devi Ashtothram, Adi Sankara Ashtothram, Sri MahaSwamigal Ashtothram, Shri Periyava Ashtothram, Thotakashtakam, MantraPushpam, Chatur Veda Parayanam, and Upacharas.
We hope you are able to attend with family and make the function a success. As in past years, we will chant Shri ShivaPanchakshara Nakshatramala Stotram during upachara, see attached for Sanskrit, Telugu and Tamizh copy of the shloka.
