Kanchi Kamakoti Seva Foundation would like to thank all for your participation and support at the Sahasradala Padma Aradhanam and 2nd Aradhana of Kanchi Shankaracharya PujyaShri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamiji held on Saturday March 7th at Sant Nirankari Mission, Warrenville, IL.
Children of all ages and adults came together to chant set of 14 shlokas in the presence of His Holiness PujyaShri Shankara Jayendra Saraswathi Swamiji over a live webcast session. Our chapter was one amongst 15 KKSF USA centers participating in this divine function initiated by His Holiness, learning these shlokas in less than two and half months. While chanting of shlokas was in progress, in parallel, under the guidance of Shivashri Chandrasekhara Gurukkalji, the Aradhana Puja was performed by Shri Chandrasekharan who took the sankalpam on behalf of all devotees. His Holiness was received with Poorna Kumbham honors by all centers. His Holiness blessed all the attendees and delivered HIS Anugraha Bhashanam.

His Holiness then watched participants from all the centers and joined them in chanting of shlokas. HIS Holiness also expressed keen interest to see this initiative continue further with a similar performance to be held later this year. The Aradhanam function concluded with recitation of Maithreem Bhajatha, Thotakashtakam, and Maha Mangala Harathi, Prasada Viniyogam and vote of thanks. Shri Matam prasadams were distributed to all devotees. Each one of the participants received a copy of a specially printed Certificate of participation from Shri Matam. Please contact one of our KKSF volunteers in case you did not receive the certificate and brown bag with Shri Matam prasadams, including silver coin, personally blessed by HIS Holiness.
KKSF would like to thank Shivashri Chandrashekhara Gurukkalji for leading the function and to Sant Nirankari Bhawan for hosting us. We are thankful to Shri Kanchi Matam and KKSF USA volunteers for their help during months of preparation leading up to this event. We are indebted to our teachers who took it upon themselves to teach us these shlokas in a short span of time and to each one of the participants for their painstaking efforts to learn these shlokas. Special credit goes to all children and their parents for following the practice schedule and attending weekly classes and keeping up with them. We are thankful to Chicago Tyagaraja Utsavam for lending us some of their audio and TV equipment. Our sincere gratitude goes to our photography, audio. video and webcast volunteers for their efforts, without which this program would not have been a success. As always, we are grateful to our volunteers for Prasadam and food distribution, the wonderful alankaram arrangements and hall setup and clean-up. And, our heartfelt appreciation to each one of you, the devotees and members of KKSF, for joining us and supporting this unique satsangam and making it a big success.
